What Is The Right Massage For You?

Ok so now you are finally ready to get a massage.  Congratulations on taking the first step to feeling better in your body! People just Don't know what kind of Massage they need. Let's take a look at 3 common massages shall we?

1. Swedish Massage

This is the most common massage people start of with when they are unsure what to expect. This is like a break in massage to start you of in the right direction. Of course you don't want the massage to be painful the first time if your afraid.  Most people just don't know what to expect.  Swedish Massage is smooth gliding strokes over your body. It's a light massage not deep. You are in between two sheets and the area worked on is only exposed.  You won't be totally naked.

2. Relaxation Masssage

This massage is slower and not deep at all ever! Note why it's says Relaxation Massage 😁  This massage is also great if your a beginner to Massage Therapy.  This massage is never painful but relaxing if you want to be soothe away. It's a good place to start if you are sensitive to pain.

3. Deep Tissue Massage

This massage works deeper into your muscles.  It's like Swedish Massage techniques but deeper . It's good if you have pain, tension and knots in your body and muscle areas. Of course I definitely wouldn't start of with this if you are new to massage bodywork.  It can be intense at times but the muscles that are tight will release after this . It will definitely relief your chronic muscle tensions. You may be sore a day or two later which is common. However you should not be bruised in the areas! 😉

Ok if you get a good seasoned massage therapist please truthful what's bothering you . They will then be able to customize a massage that works best for You! This is primarily what I do everything when the client tells me their chief complaints.  Of course not all massage therapists do this. It's important to get a massage therapist who's been in the field for years.  They are better prepared to give you the best massage your body needs! 😴
